My husband and I wanted to completely renovate our home and I was at a loss as to where to find an experienced interior designer to help navigate through such a big project.
While perusing the Houzz app, I came upon some beautiful pictures of homes that were designed by Nikole Starr Interiors and I knew I found our designer. I contacted Nikole through the Houzz app and we were off to begin our home makeover.
Nikole and her assistant Crystal were such a great team. They arrived at our home and presented all of the design options we had, offered wise advice in regards to any big changes we were thinking of making, and were consummate professionals.
They put together a great team of contractors who always followed through with excellent, quality craftsmanship. Nikole has an easy going personality and she’s a joy to work with. Her sense of style in regards to materials, designs, lighting, etc… helped us transition from the outdated look our home had (though we loved it for many years), to a fresh, modern, clean design. Her assistant Crystal was always available to help with ordering materials and arranging for installations. Just like Nikole, Crystal was awesome to work with.
All in all, Nikole’s entire team made this a relatively stress-free experience for us. I’ll never forget our first meeting with Nikole where she asked me how we wanted to feel when we walked into our home at the end of our project and I told her, “We want it to feel fresh, airy, open, modern, clean, and calm.” Six months later, walking into our home on reveal day, this is exactly what my husband and I felt when we laid eyes on our new home.
It was unbelievable and what made it even better was that we got to meet such a wonderful, friendly group of people who helped us make our dream come true.
The first house we weren’t quite sure of our style yet, so she was able to hone in on that and saved us so much time and helped us avoid costly mistakes (aside from the ones we made before we called her in)!
I have worked with Nikole on 2 homes now. Each time she has gone above and beyond for us. She provides exceptional customer service without question.
She’s very well versed in her craft and you can tell it is her passion! She’s the ultimate problem solver and handled any unforeseen issues that arose swiftly and as a consummate professional.
With our home now, we wanted to change our style a bit to be a little more modern, yet still somewhat traditional and homey (apparently that’s called transitional ;) She really hit it out of the ballpark.
